Meeting held between experts from energy regulatory bodies of Azerbaijan and Moldova

An online meeting was held between experts from the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and the National Agency for Energy Regulation of Moldova (ANRE).

During the meeting, Ozal Feyzili, Head Specialist of the Energy Monitoring Section within AERA’s Energy Regulation and Monitoring Department, delivered a presentation. He provided detailed information on the services offered by AERA regarding the issuance of commissioning certificates for electrical units with a capacity exceeding 200 kW, as well as operational clearance for industrial gas facilities, alongside control measures implemented in the electricity sector.

Afterwards, ANRE experts shared Moldova’s experience regarding control mechanisms and existing legislation applied in the electricity sector.

The meeting concluded with a Q&A session and discussions on the topic.
