During his visit to the United States, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with Adebayo Ogunlesi, Founding Partner, Chairman and CEO of the global infrastructure investment management company Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), and Eric Varvel, Partner and Global Head of Capital Formation Group at GIP.
The meeting discussed the development of the Middle Corridor, digital transformation, and the regional opportunities created by energy projects.
The parties also exchanged views on the establishment of a joint investment platform in the areas of transport, logistics, digital infrastructure, and data centers.
