Within the framework of joint cooperation between SOCAR and Honeywell, the opening ceremony of the Operations Technology Academy established at Baku Higher Oil School was held.
The Academy is considered another important step in the development of human capital and digitalization in line with SOCAR’s Corporate Strategy approved through 2035.
The newly established Academy will contribute to accelerating digital transformation in SOCAR’s production facilities, enhancing operational safety and reliability, as well as systematically developing the knowledge and skills of engineering and technical personnel in modern automation and control systems. Through advanced training infrastructure that simulates real production environments, the Academy provides employees with the opportunity to safely learn and test complex automation processes. During the opening ceremony, guests were given detailed information about the operation principles of the training simulation equipment, as well as the setup of the center before and after renovation.
This initiative is another tangible demonstration of SOCAR’s priority on developing the digital skills of its employees alongside the digitalization of production processes, as well as its forward-looking and innovation-focused approach.
