On February 27, 2026, the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) organized an event for capital market participants titled “Innovations in Local Capital Markets and Future Cooperation Opportunities.”
The event brought together representatives of investment companies, banks, legal and audit firms, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the National Depository Center, as well as relevant professional associations.
In his opening remarks, Chairman of the Management Board of the Baku Stock Exchange, Mr. Ruslan Khalilov, emphasized the strategic importance of deepening capital markets, enhancing market infrastructure, and strengthening coordination among market participants. He noted that updating the regulatory framework, increasing data accessibility, and reinforcing transparency remain key priorities for ensuring the market’s sustainable development.
Several new initiatives were presented during the event:
- Mr. Farhad Mansurov, Head of the Listing Department at the Baku Stock Exchange, introduced the new Listing Rules, stating that the primary objective of the amendments is to establish a clearer and more flexible framework for issuers while ensuring the protection of investors’ interests.
- Ms. Narmin Bayramli, Analyst at the BSE, presented the Exchange’s 2025 Bulletin, providing detailed information on key market indicators, performance dynamics, and development trends.
- Ms. Bahar Rustamova, Data Analyst at the BSE, introduced a new statistical tool — an interactive data dashboard. It was noted that this tool will enhance analytical capabilities by providing more оператив and visually accessible market data.
The event concluded with an exchange of views among participants, during which the future development directions of the capital market and potential areas for cooperation were discussed.
The Baku Stock Exchange continues to implement initiatives aimed at supporting the institutional development of capital markets and strengthening open dialogue with market participants.
