The implementation of Presidential Decree No. 718 of the Republic of Azerbaijan, “On measures for the creation of the ‘Government Cloud’ (G-cloud) and the provision of cloud services,” is ongoing.

As part of this decree, the Seaside Boulevard Department has joined the institutions migrating their information systems and resources to the Government Cloud.

The institution has partially placed its IT systems in the Baku Data Center operated by “AzInTelecom” LLC, a company within AZCON Holding. AzInTelecom has provided the institution with Virtual Server – IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) services. As a result, the institution has achieved high availability for its critical systems.

It should be noted that within the Government Cloud project, the full or partial migration of IT systems of state institutions to the Baku and Yevlakh Data Centers of AzInTelecom is being carried out. This results in lower IT expenses for institutions and improved performance across their information systems. Consequently, it enables further strengthening of information security, the development of a stable and resilient IT infrastructure, more efficient operational coordination, high-quality service delivery, and 24/7 monitoring.

“AzInTelecom” LLC is the first organization in the South Caucasus region to obtain the TIER III certificate, which defines international standards for cloud services.
