Specialists from the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) and Türkiye’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) held an online meeting within the framework of the 2025–2026 Inter-Forum Action Plan of the “Regulations” Working Group under the Azerbaijan–Türkiye IV Energy Forum.
During the meeting, EMRA energy specialist Muhammet Ali Ateş delivered a presentation on Türkiye’s experience in monitoring the electricity market. He provided detailed information on the measures for monitoring the wholesale electricity market, investigating abuse cases, and applying fines.
The meeting concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session.
