VTB (Azerbaijan) has released its financial results for the first quarter of 2026. According to the report, the bank’s assets increased by 6% since the beginning of the year, reaching 323.97 million manats. VTB’s net profit for the period amounted to 1.73 million manats.
The total loan portfolio exceeded 254 million manats. In the first quarter, the business lending portfolio surpassed 72 million manats, marking a 7.3% increase compared with the start of the year. The retail loan portfolio grew by 6% and reached 117.63 million manats.
The bank’s deposit portfolio also demonstrated growth. By the end of the first quarter of 2026, total deposits rose by nearly 7% to 108.64 million manats. Savings of corporate clients increased by 15%, while deposits of individuals grew by 4%.
The report notes that the bank’s total capital exceeded 102.3 million manats, which is 52.3 million manats above (more than double) the minimum regulatory requirement set by the Central Bank.
