Ayten Tarverdiyeva, an employee of the Ombudsman Office, participated in the second meeting of the Sub-Committee on Women’s Rights of the OIC Ombudsman Association (OICOA).
Speaking at the meeting, which was held to strengthen cooperation among OIC member states in the field of women's rights and gender-sensitive governance, A. Tarverdiyeva provided information on the activities of the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan to protect women's rights, expand their economic opportunities, and ensure their full participation in all spheres, particularly in the decision-making process.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also conducted on the activities and good practices of other countries in the relevant field.
