On September 29, 2026, the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham Azerbaijan) hosted its September Members’ Luncheon, bringing together representatives of the local and international business community for an afternoon focused on digital transformation, knowledge exchange, and professional networking. The event featured Ms. Adele Trombetta, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cisco Customer Experience EMEA.
The luncheon commenced with opening remarks by AmCham Azerbaijan’s Executive Director, Mr. Zaur Karimov, who welcomed guests and provided an overview of the Chamber’s latest developments, key initiatives, and upcoming activities.
This was followed by remarks from Mr. Nuran Kerimov, President of AmCham Azerbaijan, who highlighted the importance of platforms that connect the business community with global expertise. In his remarks, Mr. Kerimov underscored the growing importance of digital transformation for Azerbaijan’s business landscape and highlighted the value of engagement with global technology leaders such as Cisco. He also reaffirmed AmCham Azerbaijan’s commitment to facilitating dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collaboration between the local and international business communities.
The main part of the luncheon featured a presentation by Ms. Adele Trombetta, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cisco Customer Experience EMEA. Ms. Trombetta shared insights on AI readiness, digital transformation and the practical steps businesses can take to adopt AI successfully, drawing on Cisco's own experience of deploying AI at scale across its global workforce. The presentation was followed by an interactive Q&A session, allowing participants to exchange perspectives and engage directly with the speaker.
The program also highlighted the ongoing work of AmCham Azerbaijan’s committees and working groups. Ms. Aygun Isayeva, Chairperson of the Education & Vocational Working Group, and Ms. Aysel Suleymanova, Chairperson of the MCBD Committee, shared updates on their respective groups’ recent activities, key initiatives, and upcoming priorities.
As part of the luncheon program, representatives of AmCham member companies also had the opportunity to introduce their organizations and areas of expertise. Mr. Vugar Javadov, Co-founder and CEO of Neurotime; Mr. Amil Valiyev, CEO of British School in Baku; and Ms. Bahar Dadashova, Commercial Director of Flame Towers Real Estate Management, presented their companies and provided an overview of their key areas of activity, services, and expertise.
The formal program was followed by lunch and networking, providing participants with an opportunity to continue discussions, establish new business connections, and explore potential areas of cooperation in an informal setting.
Through its regular Members’ Luncheons, AmCham Azerbaijan continues to provide a platform for engagement between business leaders, industry experts, and key stakeholders, promoting knowledge exchange, professional dialogue, and stronger connections across Azerbaijan’s local and international business community.
