For the first time, two innovative projects developed by Baku State University (BSU) have been shortlisted for the prestigious international QS Reimagine Education Awards 2026. BSU will be represented at the competition, which will take place in London, United Kingdom, by two projects: “An AI-Powered Lifelong Learning Digital Twin Ecosystem” and “NeuroLearn BSU.”

The “An AI-Powered Lifelong Learning Digital Twin Ecosystem” project aims to personalise and enhance lifelong learning through the use of artificial intelligence technologies.

The “NeuroLearn BSU” project seeks to explore new opportunities for learning through innovative technologies and to improve the educational experience by applying modern approaches.

The QS Reimagine Education Awards is an international platform that recognises innovative approaches to education, the application of technology, and pioneering projects shaping the future of learning.

More than 2,200 projects were submitted across 15 award categories for the 2026 competition. The initial evaluation was conducted by a panel of more than 1,000 international judges. Both BSU projects successfully passed the highly competitive selection process, placing among the top 25% of submissions and securing the opportunity to be represented in London.

The shortlisting of the two BSU projects for the QS Reimagine Education Awards reflects international recognition of the University’s initiatives in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and innovative educational technologies. It also highlights the growing potential for innovation at BSU in these fields.
