BSU Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Uzbekistan’s Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Legal Personnel

Baku State University (BSU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Legal Personnel under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Yesemurat Kanyazov, Director of the Institute.

The memorandum provides for joint projects, conferences, seminars, symposia, short-term courses, training programmes and research initiatives aimed at improving legal education, the retraining and professional development of legal personnel, and aligning these activities with international standards.

The agreement also envisages joint publications in academic journals, the development of collaborative academic programmes, curricula and syllabuses, and exchanges of professors, legal professionals, researchers and students.
