Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samaddin Asadov met with Hideo Fuseda, Vice-Minister for Policy Coordination (International Affairs) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan.

The meeting focused on expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan in digital development and information and communications technologies (ICT), exchanging expertise in artificial intelligence, digital transformation and innovation, and exploring opportunities for implementing joint projects.

The sides also exchanged views on finalising the Action Plan on Cooperation in ICT and Postal Services, participation in the Hiroshima AI Process, and the use of ICT for disaster prevention.
