Another tree-planting campaign was held with the participation of the Ministry of Energy on the occasion of Power Engineers’ Day

A tree-planting campaign was jointly organized by the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Azerenergy OJSC and Azerishig OJSC to mark Power Engineers’ Day, celebrated on October 20.

Organized in the Mushfigabad settlement as part of the Year of Urban Planning and Architecture, the campaign saw the planting of 625 pine and olive saplings across an area of one hectare.

The campaign brought together management and staff members of the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency, Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency, Azerenergy OJSC and Azerishig OJSC, as well as eco-volunteers.

The campaign aimed to promote joint efforts to protect the environment and expand green spaces, prevent atmospheric pollution and raise awareness of the importance of the efficient use of natural resources.
