ACCA-Azerbaijanis Coordination Council, operating in the US, addressed a statement to the international organizations over the capture of the Azerbaijani servicemen Babirov Agshin, born in 2004 born and Akhundov Huseyn, born in 2003.
Attention was drawn to the inhuman treatment against Azerbaijani soldiers. The incident was assessed as a egregious breach of international humanitarian laws by Armenia.
Relevant international organizations were informed that investigation and properly evaluation of the above-indicated violence, including the violence committed by Armenia against Azerbaijani prisoners of war and civilian prisoners, and 3,890 missing Azerbaijanis over the past 30 years should be carried out.
ACCA called on international organizations to give a legal assessment of violation and to ensure the immediate and unconditional release of Azerbaijani servicemen.
