Agshin Yusifzada, a fourth-year student at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), who is majoring in Chemical Engineering, took part in prestigious world forums.

Agshin Yusifzada, who attended the conference of the World Economic Forum and Islamic Development Bank, recently won the internship program of the Aramco Research Center under the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. Agshin is the only student from Azerbaijan to win this program. He worked for three months as a research assistant at the Advanced Membranes and Porous Materials Department.

At the World Economic Forum, Agshin Yousifzada met with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, representatives of the Saudi Royal Family, Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Mustafa, and Princess Beatrice of Great Britain. At the Islamic Development Bank’s conference, the BHOS student met with the Maldivian Minister of Finance Muhammad Shafag and the management of the Malaysian Liquidity Company.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Saudi Arabia Shahin Abdullayev congratulated Agshin Yusifzada on his participation in these international events.
