Within the framework of cooperation between the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Baku and Azerbaijan University of Languages the event in the theme of “Education in UAE” with the participation of  University teachers and students was held in Sheikh Zayed Arabic Language Auditorium (Hall) in the University.

Greeting the participants, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Excellency Mohammed Al Blooshi stressed the significance of the establishment of Sheikh Zayed Center, where students benefit from knowledge and create productive networking. Then Mr. Ambassador delivered a lecture about the importance of education and gave detailed information about the UAE strategy on education.

“Education has always been one of the highest priorities of the UAE,” said Mr. Ambassador, and underlined that the UAE believes in the power of higher education to increase understanding, create opportunities and move society forward.

Excellency Mohammed Al Blooshi shared with the participants information about universities in the UAE, mentioned the first university established in 1976 -the University of the United Arab Emirates (UAEU), and the country’s achievements in education.

The event continued with the students’ performances in the Arabic language, Q&A session, and a film dedicated to UAEU.
