Roman Tolstosheyev, a 5th-year student of the Information Security Department of the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR, participated in the Global Innovation Forum.

Our student received an invitation from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for his successful performance in the project jointly implemented by BHOS and ITU. Roman moderated the session "YOUTH LEADERSHIP DEEP DIVE: GCYLP Young Leadership Case Studies".

The Global Innovation Forum (GIF) is the flagship event of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a UN agency, to discuss the trends and most pressing needs of countries regarding digital innovation. The forum was held at the Mediterranean Conference Center in Valletta, Malta. The President of Malta and ministers from Japan, India, Slovenia and the Philippines participated in the forum, which aimed to promote knowledge exchange, sharing of best practices, networking and the development of digital innovation ecosystems.
