Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova has sent a letter of condolences to Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran Bagher Ghalibaf.
The Speaker of Parliament expresses her sorrow over the deaths and injuries caused by the explosion at the Shahid Rajaee port of the town of Bandar Abbas in Iran. Also, the Speaker conveyed the deeply heartfelt condolences, on her own behalf and on behalf of the Members of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the families and friends of those killed in the explosion and the whole people of Iran. The letter also contains the wishes that the Almighty rest the souls of the deceased in peace and that those injured recover soon.
