Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Alim Bayel, commenting on the historic agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia, highly praised the peace process.

The diplomat stated that this agreement will give strong impetus to a new stage of peace and cooperation in the South Caucasus:

“I am confident that the opening of roads and cooperation in the fields of transport and logistics, communications, trade, and energy will make a significant contribution not only to the stability and prosperity of the South Caucasus, but also to Central Asia. We take great pride in Kazakhstan’s participation in the peace process at the initiative of President Tokayev. We have always supported historical justice and mutual respect.”

Alim Bayel also emphasized that Kazakhstan is ready to work jointly with Azerbaijan to deepen regional cooperation and strengthen lasting peace.
