The official Kazakhstan delegation led by Mr Yerlan Koishibaev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aktau Port, and Logistics Managing Director of Kazakhistan Railways Company paid a business visit the Port of Baku. The delegation was also accompanied by Mr Abay Turikpenbayev, Chairman of the Board of Aktau Port, Mr Serik Ahmetov, General Director of Port Kuryk, Mr Arman Sultanov, General Director of JSC "Kedentransservice" and others.
The guests met with the senior management of the Port of Baku and discussed the existing areas of cooperation between Port of Baku and the ports, logistics and transportation companies of Kazakhstan. During the meeting improving multimodal transportation on Asia-Europe transcontinental routes, development of mutual business cooperation in logistics and transportation, as well as investment opportunities in the port's 2nd development of the Port of Baku were also stressed.
It was a follow-up meeting within the framework of the recently signed cooperation memorandum between the Port of Baku and "Kazakhstan Railway" National Company.
