Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samaddin Asadov met with Marijana Kujundžić, the European Union (EU) Ambassador to Azerbaijan. The meeting addressed preparations for the upcoming World Telecommunication Development Conference in Baku, efforts to strengthen global digital connectivity, and opportunities to further expand cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU in this field.

The EU side commended Azerbaijan’s efforts to advance global digital connectivity and promote sustainable transformation, reiterating its support for these initiatives.

The Azerbaijani side, in turn, reaffirmed its readiness to continue mutually beneficial cooperation with the EU in the digital and transport sectors, highlighting the importance of enriching this partnership with new content within the framework of the World Telecommunication Development Conference.
