Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev took part in the Comprehensive Coordination Agenda panel for Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and the Black Sea region at the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor Forum held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
In his remarks, the minister emphasized that the main challenges facing major corridor projects include discrepancies in border standards, insufficient digitalization, and infrastructure shortcomings.
Rashad Nabiyev highlighted that owing to its strategic location, stability, and economic diversification, Azerbaijan is a reliable and attractive destination for investment.
He added that the Zangezur Corridor will provide a sustainable, fast, and cost-effective link between Europe and Central Asia, while the Middle Corridor is being developed as a resilient and efficient model for the entire region.
