A ceremony was held to present state awards to railway transport workers and employees of the Baku Metro who were honored by decrees of President Ilham Aliyev.
At the event, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev congratulated the award recipients and expressed his gratitude to the head of state for the attention shown to the sector’s employees.
It should be mentioned that pursuant to the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated October 13, 2025, for their effective contributions to the development of railway transport in Azerbaijan, four employees were awarded the 3rd Degree “Labor” Order, and fifteen employees received the “Taraggi” (Progress) Medal.
Under the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated November 5, 2025, in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the development of the Baku Metro and their effective work in ensuring traffic safety, one employee was awarded the 3rd Degree “Labor” Order, and nine employees received the “Taraggi” Medal.
