The State Maritime and Port Agency (SMPA) has taken an important step toward digitalization to ensure more transparent, efficient, and modern verification and tracking of seafarer documents. Within this framework, a unified digital platform called “My Cabinet” has been put into operation.

Through the new digital platform, seafarers will be able to conveniently monitor their documents from a single centralized system. The system provides access to the status of seafarers’ certificates (diplomas), special training certificates, electronic versions of these documents, information on trainings organized for seafarers, submission of online applications and receipt of responses, as well as various informational and educational notifications.

In addition, it is planned that the results of all examinations conducted by the SMPA will soon be made available through the “My Cabinet” platform. This innovation will enable the prompt and transparent verification of document authenticity and will play a significant role in minimizing cases of falsification.

This initiative implemented by the SMPA is aimed at expanding digital transformation in the maritime sector, improving service quality, and increasing user satisfaction.
