At the Central Customs Hospital, Dr. Elvin Azizov performs a wide range of surgical procedures, including adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, myringotomy (paracentesis) with tympanostomy tube insertion, otoplasty of the external ear, open and closed septoplasty for deviated nasal septum, rhinoplasty, surgical removal of nasal polyps, surgical treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases of the paranasal sinuses, excision of cysts of the anterior and lateral neck, laryngeal biopsies, and removal of laryngeal polyps.

Dr. Elvin Azizov graduated in 2007 from the Faculty of General Medicine of Azerbaijan Medical University. From 2007 to 2009, he completed his residency, and from 2010 to 2013, his postgraduate (PhD) studies at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Ukraine. Between 2013 and 2015, he worked as a pediatric otorhinolaryngologist at the same department.
Since 2015, Dr. Elvin Azizov has been working as an otorhinolaryngologist at the Central Customs Hospital. In 2014, in Kyiv, Ukraine, at the A.S. Kolomiychenko Research Institute of Otorhinolaryngology, he defended his dissertation entitled “Optimization of Surgical Treatment in Patients with Complicated Sinusitis Using Photohemotherapy” and was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicine.
Continuously improving his professional skills and actively adopting advanced medical practices, Dr. Elvin Azizov participated in the 2012 scientific and practical conference of the Ukrainian Scientific and Medical Society of Otorhinolaryngologists entitled “Modern Methods of Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Inflammatory Diseases of ENT Organs”. In 2019, he also took part in a course on endoscopic sinus surgery on cadaveric material of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, and skull base in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
