Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic, Minister of Mining and Energy of Serbia.
The meeting focused on the crucial role of the high-level relations between the two countries’ leaders in fostering the strategic cooperation between the two countries. The discussions focused on the cooperation in oil and gas, energy infrastructure, electric energy production, energy efficiency, renewable energy and heat supply. It was mentioned that Azerbaijan had exported 444.6 million cubic meters of natural gas to Serbia in over two years. The work done to implement the project of a gas-fired power plant in Serbia was reviewed. The meeting also reviewed cooperation in the Caspian-Black Sea-Europe Green Energy Corridor project.
The Serbian delegation was invited to attend the events, scheduled to take place during the Baku Energy Week.
