A scientific seminar on “Digital Transformation and Book Publishing” was held at the Faculty of Information and Document Management at Baku State University (BSU).
The seminar featured a presentation by Leyla Abasova, who discussed the growing impact of digital transformation on the publishing industry. She highlighted the rapid shift from traditional to digital publishing, the increasing role of artificial intelligence, and new opportunities created by modern technologies.
The presentation also addressed key issues such as copyright protection, information security, and academic integrity, as well as emerging trends including voice search and multimedia content. A comparative analysis of traditional and digital publishing models was presented, supported by examples from both international and local publishers.
The seminar concluded with discussions.
