From May 6 to 11, an International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament was held in Portimão, Portugal. Our country was represented by senior gymnasts Govhar Ibrahimova, Fidan Gurbanli, and Kamilla Seyidzade, as well as junior gymnasts Azada Atakishiyeva and Nuray Muradli.
In the junior team competition, Azada Atakishiyeva and Nuray Muradli delivered outstanding performances and won the gold medal with a total score of 94.000 points, outperforming teams from the United States and Italy.
In the individual ball routine, Azada Atakishiyeva continued her strong performance, winning the gold medal with 25.500 points. Govhar Ibrahimova also demonstrated excellent form, earning the silver medal with a score of 25.900 points.
