Azerbaijani athletics athlete Kanan Valiyev has been handed a two-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation.
The violation falls under Article 2.3, which concerns evading, refusing or failing to submit to sample collection.
The sanction took effect on 15 April 2026 and is scheduled to end on 15 April 2028, amounting to a 24-month period of ineligibility.
