From May 6 to 9, the National Gymnastics Arena once again became the center of elegance, agility, and sporting spirit, as it hosted the 31st Baku Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, which concluded successfully.
Nearly 150 gymnasts representing 5 clubs took part in the competition, showcasing a high level of skill, artistry, and dedication throughout the event.
Across the children’s, juniors’, and youth categories, athletes performed routines with hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon, combining strength, grace, and professionalism. Each performance was a true piece of art, perfectly synchronized with music and warmly appreciated by the audience in the arena.
Following the qualification stage, the strongest gymnasts advanced to the finals, where they competed with determination and confidence for top scores in the decisive performances. At the end of the championship, the most outstanding athletes were awarded medals and proudly took their places on the podium.
One of the most memorable moments of the event came on the third day, when our Special Olympics representatives delivered inspiring and colorful performances that were met with great interest and enthusiastic applause from the spectators.
We extend our sincere congratulations to all the winning gymnasts.
