On May 26, 2026, an event titled “Innovations in Local Capital Markets and Future Cooperation Opportunities” was organized at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) for issuer companies.
Representatives of companies operating in both the financial and non-financial sectors attended the event.
In his opening remarks, Ogtay Gasimov, Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer of the Baku Stock Exchange, highlighted the opportunities created for local companies by the new listing rules. He noted that updating the regulatory framework, increasing access to information, and strengthening transparency are among the key priorities for the sustainable development of the market.
Several new initiatives were presented during the event:
- Farhad Mansurov, Head of the Listing at the Baku Stock Exchange, presented the new Listing Rules and stated that the main objective of the changes is to create a clearer and more flexible framework for issuers while also ensuring the protection of investors’ interests.
- BSE Analyst Mr. Narmin Bayramli presented the Exchange’s bulletin for the first quarter of 2026, providing detailed information on the market’s key indicators, dynamics, and development trends.
- BSE Data Analyst Mr. Bahar Rustamova introduced an interactive data dashboard, a new statistical tool, to the participants. It was noted that this tool will expand analytical capabilities by enabling more operative and visual access to market data.
At the end of the event, participants exchanged views and discussed future development directions and cooperation opportunities within the capital market.
The Baku Stock Exchange continues its initiatives aimed at supporting the institutional development of capital markets and strengthening open dialogue with market participants.
