The International Conference: "Middle Corridor: Connecting economies through ports and air freight connectivity" was organized in close partnership with the Port of Baku
The focus of the conference was on Azerbaijan’s key geographical location, coupled with well-developed logistics infrastructure and state-of-the-art port and air cargo facilities for transiting goods and services between Europe and Asia.
The event gathered high-level officials from the government and diplomatic institutions and business companies on December 12, 2022 in Baltimore, MD to share their knowledge and expertise through panel discussions with the conference participants.
Director-General of the Port of Baku, Dr. Taleh Ziyadov attended the conference as a guest speaker and delivered a presentation on “Role of the Port of Baku along the Middle Corridor in global economic integration”. The conference also allowed participants of the conference, who are importers, exporters, shippers, consignees, freight forwarders, and other industry players to exchange ideas and learn from the experts how to seize trade opportunities along the Middle Corridor.
The conference was organized by the United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) and the U.S. Agency for International Development ( USAID) Mission in Azerbaijan, in partnership with the Port of Baku, the Global Chamber and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United States.
