Armenian students organized an event entitled "Nagorno-Karabakh: the situation after the 2020 war" at Queen Mary University of London.

Varujan Nersesyan, ambassador of Armenia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, met with strong opposition of Azerbaijani students at this event.

Gasim Gurbanov, founder of the British Azerbaijani Youth Movement, has found out that a meeting with the participation of the Armenians and pro-Armenian historians will take place at Queen Mary University of London a week later.

Azerbaijani students appealed to the university administration and warned them that participation of Baroness Cox, whose name was mentioned by some media outlets a month ago for accepting bribes from anti-Islamic international organizations, in this meeting was unacceptable.

The students succeeded in expelling Baroness Cox from the meeting.

Azerbaijani students strongly objected to the ambassador, who gave false information to the meeting participants and made unsubstantiated claims. By bringing forward fact-based arguments, the Azerbaijani students forced ambassador to shut up.

Gasim Gurbanov even accepted the offer of an Armenian ambassador to continue discussions after the meeting. During the discussions, Gasim Gurbanov's fact-based arguments made the ambassador to admit that the Armenians were lying.
