Almaz Heydarova, a first-year Master's student in Oil and Gas Technologies at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), and Gunel Rahimli, a 2024 BHOS graduate in Chemical Engineering, represented our country at the international conference ICOSSE'25 (International Congress on Sustainability Science & Engineering), held in Auckland, New Zealand.

They took part in discussion sessions on the topic of “Efficient gold recovery from waste printed circuit boards” and gave poster presentations on this topic.

The trip to New Zealand by a BHOS student and graduate took place with the support of AzerGold.

Participation in COSSE'25 provided Almaz Heydarova and Gunel Rahimli with the opportunity to exchange experiences with international experts and take part in discussions of innovative solutions.

The main topics discussed at the conference:

Innovative waste management and recycling technologies

Sustainable approaches to resource restoration

Digitalization and integration of artificial intelligence into industrial processes

Closed-loop economy strategies in various industries

We congratulate our students and are proud of them!
