AccessBank, an active supporter of small and medium-sized business development in Azerbaijan, announces the launch of the “Bizdən Biznesə” startup competition for the second time. The project is implemented in partnership with the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and with the support of Visa, a global leader in digital payments.
Held for the second time, the main goal of the project is to inspire individuals with innovative ideas to build their own businesses and to contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing both financial and mentoring support. The “Bizdən Biznesə” competition opens new opportunities for startups evaluated based on innovation, social impact, and sustainable development principles.
Within the project, which has a total prize fund of 75,000 AZN, the first-place winner will receive 25,000 AZN, the second-place winner 20,000 AZN, and the third-place winner 15,000 AZN. In addition, a special project selected by Visa will be awarded an extra 15,000 AZN prize.
It should be noted that the total prize fund of last year’s “Bizdən Biznesə” competition amounted to 60,000 AZN. This year, the project is being implemented on a larger scale with an expanded support package.
Competition stages are as follows:
October 15 - November 15, 2025 - Application submission deadline
November 17-23, 2025 - Selection of 20 eligible business projects by a special committee
November 24-30, 2025 - Preparation process for the presentation stage of selected projects
December 2-15, 2025 - Identification and preparation of 10 finalist projects for presentation
December 22, 2025 - Award ceremony for the winners
