A meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy to present the first energy auditor qualification certificate in Azerbaijan. Deputy Energy Minister Elnur Soltanov presented the relevant qualification certificates to Dashgin Hasanli, the representative of DH Energy Audit and Consulting LLC, who received the certificate of energy auditor for the first time in Azerbaijan.

The participants exchanged views on the requirements of legislation in the field of energy audit, the role played by certified auditors in the implementation of these requirements, the processes and forthcoming tasks on subjects of mandatory energy audit, the importance of audit in achieving energy efficiency and the beginning of a new stage in this area.

Implementation of energy audit in economic entities and buildings in accordance with the requirements arising from the law on Efficient Use of Energy Resources and Energy Efficiency the attestations in the specialty categories were held on 13-14 November. For the first time in both categories, only one person achieved success and received the right to obtain a qualification certificate of an energy auditor.
