On 9 April 2026, during her visit to Uzbekistan, SOCAR Vice President Arzu Javadova met with Abdugani Sanginov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the dynamic development of bilateral cooperation between the companies in line with the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. The parties discussed the current state of cooperation and prospects for its further development.
The discussions also covered progress in the implementation of the joint geological exploration project in the Ustyurt exploration area, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
