The biometric technology of the SİMA digital signature will be applied during the upcoming housing sales conducted by the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MCGF) under its rental mechanism.
Under the new approach, citizens will be be able to confirm their applications during the rental housing selection process not with passwords or other verification methods, but only through the facial recognition functionality of “SİMA İmza”.
This approach has been introduced to ensure security and transparency during the selection process and to prevent third parties from interfering on behalf of applicants. Thanks to biometric identification, every confirmation is carried out directly with the participation of the applicant.
