Four BSU students to continue their studies at Beijing University of Chemical Technology

A dual degree program in Chemistry has been launched between Baku State University (BSU) and Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT).

As part of the program, four BSU Chemistry students — Nazly Mamedova, Orkhan Gasimzade, Zuleikha Abbasova, and Aysel Hamidova — have traveled to BUCT to continue their studies.

The dual degree program aims to enhance the quality of higher education, align academic training with international standards, broaden students’ international experience, and prepare highly qualified specialists who meet the needs of the labor market. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive degrees from both universities.

The program will also strengthen BSU’s international partnerships, expand academic and scientific cooperation with international universities, and create new educational opportunities for students.
